Jorge and Tiago
Some referrals come from former colleagues. Others come from friends. And sometimes, they come from family.
At Anteriad Spain, our Ambassador Program encourages employees to recommend people they believe would be a great addition to our team. If we hire them and they successfully complete six months with the company, the employee who made the introduction receives an Ambassador bonus as a thank you for helping us grow with the right people.
Here we spotlight an Anteriad Ambassador success story that starts with family. Julio has known Tiago since his brother-in-law was nine years old, and jokes he’s been "trying to mould him into the young gentleman he has become" ever since. 😜 So, when the opportunity came to confidently recommend someone he knew well, Julio didn't have to think twice. It’s been a win for everyone!

Who are Julio and Tiago?
Julio: I was born in the small town of Bela-Bela, South Africa, and I’m proud of my Portuguese roots. At 19, I moved to Pretoria to study sport science while working as a waiter, eventually managing a restaurant before opening my own. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for business. Nearly three years ago, my beautiful wife, 2 daughters, and I moved to Madrid, which we’re happy to call home. I work at Anteriad Spain as a BDR, and it's been a great fit. Outside of work, you’ll find me enjoying all things business and sport, discovering great food, and appreciating a good glass of wine every now and then.
Tiago: I was also born in South Africa, in Pretoria, where football was my biggest passion from an early age. After playing professionally for five years, I decided at 24 to move into business, co-owning a butchery for 6 years before moving on to start a new chapter. Living in Europe had always been a goal of mine, so a year ago I made the move to Spain. I got hired at Anteriad, and when I'm not working, I enjoy playing football or padel, going for a run, and, of course, spending time with the family and friends I’m so lucky to have here.
What teams do you work on?
Julio: I work with our APAC team.
Tiago: I started as a BDR in the UK market and now work in Operations across the UK, APAC, and the US teams, which keeps every day interesting.
What do you like most about working here?
Julio: The international environment really stands out. Every day you get to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and that makes the workplace both enjoyable and rewarding. And I certainly don't mind my earlier hours working for the APAC team!
Tiago: For me, it's definitely the people. Everyone is willing to help each other reach their goals, no matter where or what team they're on. It's beautiful to see that sense of teamwork every day.
What advice would you give to someone starting at Anteriad?
Julio: Set yourself ambitious goals, then break them down into smaller, achievable steps. Stay focused on what matters most, prepare thoroughly for each day, and you’ll put yourself in the best position to succeed. And finally, consistency is key: dial regularly, stay disciplined, and trust the process.
Tiago: Staying motivated is fundamental. Whatever the challenge, keep a positive mindset and don't be afraid to ask for help. There's plenty of support around you, so make the most of it and always give your best.
